We all have experienced it. At one point or another in our lives, someone has really hated us. Sometimes there are valid reasons for this, sometimes not. A lot of the times others will hate us for having more than they do, or for being more than they are. The best way to deal with haters is to anticipate this behavior, and when it happens, not let it affect you in any way.
Why So Much Hate?
So you just do your thing, trying to do your best, and all of the sudden haters appear out of the woodwork. You find out at one point it isn’t just a disliking, but a strong hatred towards you. How could this happen you might ask yourself? Well, the root of this issue comes right out of the very root of the problem; jealously, envy, and insecurity. There are some people out there that are so insecure with themselves, they can not stand the fact that someone else might be doing something they wish they could have done, but were not capable of doing. In other situations, people only like to see others being generic and following the crowd. When you have your own way of doing things, or are trying to make a difference, a lot of the time insecure individuals will treat you as a threat.
How To Spot A Hater
If the answer to this question was obvious, then there would be no point in even writing about it. The trickiest situations are the situations in which there are no obvious solutions. So first off, don’t think of recognizing a hater as something that is going to be obvious, in most cases it won’t be. The trick is to pick up the signals over time, and be smart about recognize negativity directed towards you. The most common places for haters to lurk are in school such as high school or college, or in the workplace. Other times, there are haters among family members, or among cousins, and in laws.
How To Deal With A Hater
The best way to deal with a hater is not to let them have any power over you, and to never let them know what you are thinking. There is one important point I would like to emphasize here. If you ever encounter somehow who is willing to take things to a higher level than you are, you are always going to be at their mercy unless you are willing to raise to the same level that they are. Be prepared to fight, or back down when appropriate.
Conclusion About Haters
Remember, haters are going to lurk all around you like flies. Sometimes the signs will be obvious, sometimes they won’t. Remember to use your intelligence and carefully observe what is going on around you at all times. If you notice any signs of a hater, try to put an end to the hate immediately, before it could potentially get a lot worse. If the hate gets really bad, be prepared to either back down or fight against the hater.
