Even with all the proper technology in place it can still be easy to fall into poor habits. This is where exercise can play a big role in maintaining good posture throughout the day. These exercises will strengthen the lower back and neck, helping to withstand a day in front of the computer. Core-specific exercises such as front squats, back extensions, and leg raises will promote better posture in everyday life. Pulling exercises such as machine rows and shoulder work will also help rid workers of their slumped posture formed from sitting at a desk all day.

Maintaining Proper Posture

Workers can also benefit from staying proactive about poor posture throughout the day. Do your best to be mindful of anytime your posture begins to suffer and quickly correct yourself.
